Project Highlights

Rectangular Reinforced Concrete Beam-Slab Systems
This study aims to propose or modify the design methodology for beam-slab systems using yield line analysis while accounting for membrane action effects in slabs under various failure modes. The research includes numerical validation of experimental and analytical findings using a non-linear finite element analysis tool. It further investigates the influence of geometric and material parameters on slab performance and explores practical guidelines for improving structural efficiency.
Ultra-High-Performance Concrete (UHPC) Bridge Girders

UHPC, with its exceptional strength, durability, and crack resistance, presents a promising material for bridge applications, especially in resisting complex loading conditions. The study aims to analyze the mechanisms governing shear behavior, including the role of fibers, the contribution of concrete and reinforcement, and failure modes under different loading scenarios.
